Hakkajo is a Japanese one-man progressive alternative rock project built around Japanese vocals, odd meters, polyrhythms and concept-driven songwriting. Influenced by modern progressive rock, Hakkajo rebuilds complex rhythmic structures through a distinctly Japanese melodic and lyrical sensibility.
白華城は、日本語ボーカル、変拍子、ポリリズム、重厚なアレンジを軸にした、日本発の一人プログレッシブ・オルタナティブロック・プロジェクト。複雑なリズム構造を構築しつつ、日本語の旋律、歌詞、情緒、コンセプト性を通して独自に形成することを目指している。

A one-man project from Japan with a musical identity already in focus.
The founder leads the concept, vocals, lyrics, composition, arrangement and creative direction. Hakkajo draws from progressive rock, art rock and alternative metal, using Tool-like rhythmic architecture as a reference point without becoming a copy.
The aim is to build a distinctly Japanese form of concept-driven heavy music through language, melody and emotional atmosphere.

Hakkajo is seeking labels, management partners, PR teams and artist-development partners who understand progressive, alternative and concept-driven music.
The project is at an early stage, with two tracks on streaming platforms and YouTube. Its identity is clear: Japanese vocals, odd meters, polyrhythms, heavy atmospheric arrangements and concept-driven songwriting.
