日本語の歌に、変拍子やポリリズム、重いギターと広がりのある音を組み合わせています。プログレッシブロックとオルタナティブロックを土台に、日本語の響きや叙情性を大切にしています。
作詞・作曲・編曲・歌唱に加え、録音、楽器・DTMのプログラミング、ミックス、マスタリングまで、木村が一人で手がけています。

Hakkajo is a solo music project from Japan by Yusuke Kimura (kimurayusuke).
Japanese-language vocals, odd meters and polyrhythms form the rhythmic and melodic foundation. Heavy guitars and spacious sound connect progressive rock with alternative rock, carrying Japanese lyrical expression and concept-driven songwriting.
Kimura handles the entire production process himself, from songwriting and vocals to recording, instrument and DAW programming, mixing and mastering.

Hakkajo (白華城) is a solo music project from Japan by Yusuke Kimura (kimurayusuke). Blending progressive and alternative rock, the music brings Japanese-language vocals and lyrical melody into contact with odd meters, polyrhythms, heavy guitars and spacious sound. Kimura writes, composes, arranges and sings every track, and handles recording, instrument and DAW programming, mixing and mastering himself. Three singles are available: 最高峰, 逃亡者 (The Fugitive) and 漂流船 (Drifting Ship). Hakkajo welcomes enquiries from listeners, labels, media and playlist curators in Japan and internationally, including opportunities for coverage, playlist features and collaborations.
